Perfection Pet Foods is donating 400 cases of dog food to the Fulton County Animal Shelter after firefighters discovered over 90 dogs living in one home. Initially called to extinguish a house fire, firefighters quickly contacted the Fulton County Animal Services to rescue the dogs from an apparent hoarding scenario.

While this case is still under investigation, the dogs are receiving the nutrition and medical attention they need.

“We are extremely grateful for the generous donation of dog food made by Perfection Pet Foods,” LifeLine Public Relations Director Karen Hirsch said. “Their donation plays an important role in supporting our mission to save every healthy and treatable pet in our care.”

Additional resources and support are needed to account for such a large intake, and the group is looking for people to foster, volunteer or donate.
