PawParks.nyc has launched a new website and iOs App.

PawParks.nyc helps pet parents discover over 130 parks in the NYC area and will inform users on which pups are checked-in and playing at nearby parks. By simply creating a profile for their dogs, pet owners will have the luxury of connecting with other pet parents in one convenient place. This website and app has cute features, like making “PawPals” and scheduling “PawDates” with four-legged friends throughout the community.

“The PawParks.nyc website and app is like a dream come true for NYC pet parents,” said Jonathan Lagasse, founder and creator of PawParks.nyc, “Not only will you connect and establish friendships within your neighborhood but your dogs will get the exercise and socialization they deserve too.”

It doesn’t end there. The website and app has a philanthropic twist. Not only will PawParks.nyc benefit pets but animal lovers utilizing this platform will have the opportunity to support shelter dogs as well. With each PawParks check-in, kibble or other products are donated by a featured sponsor to a local NYC shelter or rescue organization. With over 8 million dogs and cats entering U.S. shelters each year, it’s important to keep in mind that every donation helps to make a difference.

“PawParks.nyc gives pet lovers the opportunity to spread love to shelter pups during their daily or weekly dog park visits,” said Lagasse. “Having the ability to easily pay it forward to animal organizations with a simple click of a button is truly amazing. It’s a win-win for all!”

The goal of PawParks.nyc is to encourage pet owners to regularly exercise and socialize their furry companions while giving back to the community. Dogs living in New York City apartments need to be stimulated, kept busy and maintain an active lifestyle. By using the PawParks site and iOs app, owners can stay connected within the city’s pet community, support shelter dogs, while providing their furry friend with a happy and healthy life.
