Paragon Pet Products announced July 1 the expansion of the company’s sales team in North America with the addition of two new associates, Nick Meissen and Kate Nelson, who will be working under the WHIMZEES Natural Dog Chews brand.
“We are honored to have Nick and Kate join our Paragon team,” said Jeff Camosci, vice president of sales and marketing at Paragon Pet Products. “Their support will accelerate the already exploding growth and distribution of WHIMZEES in the pet specialty channel. These two dynamic associates have a proven track record in delivering results with key accounts and will help us deliver an even sharper focus and an exceptional level of service, quality and customer experience.”
Nick Meissen’s primary responsibilities will be to drive sales and strategy for Paragon Pet Products’ largest pet specialty chains. Prior to joining Paragon, Meissen was the Director of Sales at Dog for Dog, where he significantly increased the brand’s distribution, and worked as Territory Sales Manager and Key Account Manager at MARS Petcare, supporting both the Nutro and Greenies brands. Meissen holds a degree from Illinois State University and will be based in the Los Angeles, California area.
Kate Nelson’s primary responsibilities will be creating and executing strategic plans with Paragon Pet Products’ largest independent distributors. Prior to joining Paragon, Nelson worked as an Account Manager for Chuck Latham & Associates (CLA) and at Dogswell as a Territory Account Manager after building and running her own business. Nelson holds a degree from the University of Washington and will be based in the Denver, Colorado area.
