NYC Re-tails & Sales Pet Expo Announce Date, Pet Age as Presenting Media Sponsor

Pet industry professionals in the New York City and surrounding areas are encouraged to save the date for the upcoming 5th NYC Re-tails & Sales Pet Expo. The annual boutique pet expo event will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, from 1pm-6pm at Home Studio Inc.’s Broadway space near Union Square Park.

The NYC Re-tails & Sales Pet Expo coincides with May, which is declared National Pet Month, a time to celebrate the importance of pets and pet ownership. The first full week in May is National Pet Week, which is dedicated to celebrating the four-legged friends that enrich human lives every day.

“With over 300 million pets in the US, that makes for a booming business,” said event host Dana Humphrey, founder and president of Whitegate PR. “Pet owners today are not only going above and beyond to care for their animal companions, but are pampering them with the highest quality products like food, treats, grooming supplies, toys, bedding, pet tech items, and more.”

Media, pet retailers, groomers, veterinarians, and social media and pet influencers will all be in attendance to learn about the latest and greatest pet products available on the market. Press and pet celebrities will be in attendance as well as retailers traveling from distances including Boston, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania and Long Island to see and shop for products for their pet stores. In addition, hosts Nancy Hassel (founder and president of American Pet Professionals) and Dana Humphrey are excited to announce Pet Age as this year’s Presenting Media Sponsor.
