New Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Opens in Jacksonville

Woof Gang Bakery, a specialty pet retailer and groomer with more than 100 locations across the U.S., is opening its newest storefront in Jacksonville, Florida, with a grand opening event September 14-29.

The new Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming location is a locally-owned franchise, offering professional pet grooming and a wide selection of healthy pet foods and raw diets, gourmet baked treats, chews, toys, supplies and accessories. For additional customized services, the store boasts a social room for birthday parties, anesthesia-free dental cleanings, pet photography and other special events.

Throughout the grand opening, customers can enter to win raffle prizes including free pet food for a year, free dog treats for a year, in-store shopping sprees, a grooming credit and gift baskets filled with pet pampering products for dogs and cats.

Throughout the duration of the grand opening event, additional in-store giveaways will include free pet food samples, complimentary pet treats, free nail trims for dogs and free service upgrades with grooming appointments booked during the grand opening period.

Local residents and mother-father-daughter team Kimberly and Mike Thomas and Stacey Bretz are the franchise owners of the new Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming location. They say they are thrilled to provide customers and their pets with wholesome pet foods, quality products and full-service pet grooming in a welcoming, neighborhood setting. The family adores all animals, and their own households include a rescued Labrador-Dachshund mix named Duke, three Yorkshire Terriers and Kit Kat the cat.

“Strolling down St. Johns Avenue, it’s apparent that Avondale is a very pet-friendly community, which makes it the perfect neighborhood for our store” franchise owner Stacey Bretz said. “Each member of our team is passionate about animals and we strive to make sure every customer is completely satisfied with the personalized service, expertise and in-store experience we offer.”

The family shares a customer-focused business approach, and they say they are enthusiastic about opening their doors to the local community and pet rescues—they enjoy meeting neighbors and their pets and aim to know everyone by name.
