Matrix Partners, a brand strategy and communications firm specializing in the pet care industry, recently announced that Natalie Murawski is the newest member of the firm’s full-service, multimedia creative department.

A recent University of Dayton graduate, Murawski holds a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design. Prior to joining Matrix Partners, she interned at GA Communication Group in Chicago and at Petstages, an innovative pet toy manufacturer in Northbrook, Illinois. Murawski currently resides in a northern Chicago suburb with Sophie, her 13 year-old Maltese, which Murawski said she received as a present for her ninth birthday.

“We hired Natalie in response to increasing client demand for creative support,” said Don Tomala, Matrix Partners’ co-founder and managing partner.

According to Murawski, she has “a wide range of tasks” to complete each day and is happy that Matrix already gives her the ability to be “hands-on” with the graphic design projects. So far, Murawski has been working on creating social media content for six clients and on the branding of a pet food through the reimagining of its logo and packaging.

Murkawski, who’s been “obsessed with dogs” since she was a “little kid,” says she is looking forward to seeing the final product of the designs on which she’s been working in stores.

And it is the “family-oriented,” “personable” dynamic of Matrix Partners; the opportunity to work hands-on and get creative with projects; the ability to easily relate to her clients; and the connection she has for animals that has helped Murawski enjoy her first job out of undergraduate school as much as she does.

“Besides being an avid animal lover, she’s got an eye for design,” said Dennis Abelson, Matrix Partners’ co-founder and chief creative officer. “She will be a great addition to our award-winning creative team.”
