Kurgo co-founder Gordie Spater has been selected as a Future 50 Smart CEO award winner.

The Future 50 Smart CEO program recognizes Boston’s 50 fastest-growing midsized companies that have experienced outsized growth based on a combined three-year average of revenue and employee growth. The 2016 Future 50 winners collectively generate nearly $3.4 billion in annual revenue and employ more than 12,400 individuals.

“It’s an honor to be recognized among such an incredible group of individuals who have all created remarkable local companies,” Spater said.

This award is one of many notable awards that Kurgo has received over the years. The company has also received “World’s Most Dog Friendly Office” recognition from Inc. Magazine, and for six consecutive years in a row Kurgo has been on the Inc. 5000 list.
