Kent Pet Group (KPG) has brought on three new team members. Brooke Tjaden joined KPG as associate brand manager, Nichole Jones joined as associate brand manager – Ecommerce, and Albert Liu joined as director of International Business Development.

Tjaden most recently held the role of associate brand manager at Vi-Jon, St Louis, Missouri, where she successfully managed products within four private label categories. Prior to Vi-Jon, she held sales and marketing roles with Kemin Personal Care. In Tjaden’s new role, she will help deliver business performance by accelerating growth and share in KPG’s retail channels. She will help shape the retail strategy and work closely with cross functional teams to identify, plan and execute projects. Her focus will be in pet specialty, grocery, club and mass, with responsibility to help lead innovation, pricing, promotional planning, advertising and distribution initiatives.

Jones most recently held a digital marketing executive role with Evolution Power Tools. In this role, Jones was responsible for creating and implementing effective, measured digital programs.  She also worked closely with the company’s Ecommerce team, playing a key role with the Amazon platform and data analytics. In Jones’s new role, she will be responsible for helping to accelerate growth and share within our Ecommerce channels. She will help develop the overall ecommerce strategy, as well as developing our digital and social strategies for the overall business. Jones will also play a key role in the development and launching of our product portfolio and long-range innovation, specific to Ecommerce.

Liu is an experienced international business executive joining KPG after eight years with Musco Sports Lighting as the director of Asian Sales. He has spent the majority of his career working in international roles, including the last 21 plus years in Asia Pacific markets. His areas of market strength include Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Liu has an MBA from Southern Illinois University and both an MA and BA in English education from Northeast Normal University in Changchun, China. As a member of KPG’s executive committee, Liu will be responsible for profitable growth outside of the United States with primary focus on Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
