Kent Pet Group Makes 2 New Hires

Kent Pet Group is welcoming two new retail sales specialists to its team. Gina DeVine and Juan Sebastian will each be overseeing different areas of the U.S. DeVine will assist in the U.S. coverage of northern California, northern Nevada and western Canada for the western region  while Sebastian will cover Southern California, New Mexico and beyond for the Western Region. Both will be responsible for maintaining and growing the World’s Best Cat Litter Brand in the pet specialty channel throughout their assigned areas.

In addition to partnering with pet retailers, DeVine and Sebastian will attend dealer events, pet expos, distributor open houses and trade shows. They will also actively promote the brand through community outreach programs aimed at animal shelters, cat rescues and other animal welfare organizations.

With over 22 combined years of customer service experience in the grocery and pet industries, DeVine has spent the last seven years working exclusively in the pet specialty channel. She spent three years working at a successful northern California pet store chain where she was promoted to store manager and the last two years with the major pet food company Natural Balance where she made her reputation fostering great relationships with her passion for her customer’s business needs and her talent for merchandising.

With over 18 years of pet industry experience, Sebastian has held positions at pet specialty retail as both manager and trainer; at a major pet food company, Wellpet LLC, as a territory and key account manager; and for the last three years as a specialty channel manager for Animal Supply Company, a national pet distributor and World’s Best Cat Litter customer.
