Jolly Pets/Horsemen’s Pride Appoints New Sales Director

June 14, 2018

Jolly Pets/Horsemen’s Pride, a manufacturer of pet specialty items, has announced that Simon Power has joined its team as sales director.

Power brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the pet industry where he has spent the last 17 years as the sales director for HomeoPet. Power will be responsible for the sales management of all major mass accounts and management of the sales teams, including manufacturer reps, sales forecasting and the development of new/existing accounts.

“It is an honor and privilege for me to be joining the Jolly Pets/Horsemen’s Pride team as the sales director,” Power said. “When the conversation initially started, I looked at four primary factors: Staying within the wonderful pet industry, working for a company with a vision statement I believed in, working with great people and working for a company that has potential to move to the next level—Jolly Pets/Horsemen’s Pride checks all these boxes. I am excited to bring my experience to this team to help them deliver on its vision and continue to grow sales while delivering high quality products to the market.”

“Simon is a great fit for this position as well as our company” said Robert Miavitz, president of Jolly Pets/Horsemen’s Pride. “I am confident that his experience and knowledge will help cultivate our sales model and drive our company goals. We are delighted to have him onboard as our sales director.”
