John Paul Pet has added Dogs on Deployment and Passionate Animal Lovers to their nationwide awareness campaign, One Million Pet Adoptions (OMPA).

OMPA reflects the company’s continued efforts to promote adoptions that relieve over-crowded animal shelters.

“This campaign aggressively supports our mission to educate and serve the pet community,” said John Capra, co-founder of John Paul Pet. “The abandoned, surrendered and lost pet population has exploded nationwide. It’s our goal to educate people that adopting pets from animal shelters not only saves animals’ lives, but can bring much joy and companionship to your family.”

John Paul Pet’s OMPA campaign outreach is made of four main arms—foster support, adoption events, shelter support and a volunteer organization, which all work in synergy to support the community.

Realizing the adoption arm would require major support, John Paul Pet has formed partnerships with multiple regional and national organizations to encourage adoptions and educate pet owners on proper grooming and routine health care needs.

Partner organizations include Best Friends, FoundAnimals, Humane Society of the United States, Petco and PetsAmerica.
