Press release: Jiminy’s
Jiminy’s has reached a milestone as a pioneering producer of sustainable, cricket-based pet products by signing an agreement with Southeast Pet to distribute its products.
The partnership with the Georgia-based Southeast Pet team means that Jiminy’s sustainable treats will be available in independent retail stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee in Spring 2019.
Pete Cooper, VP of Sales & Marketing at Southeast Pet, is looking forward to offering an innovative line of sustainable treats to customers.
“Southeast Pet is excited to have Jiminy’s as our new product of choice in the emerging sustainable, alternative protein category. Our customers are constantly demanding innovative new products and Jiminy’s line-up of dog treats is a great, differentiated addition to our product portfolio,” said Cooper.
Anne Carlson, founder and CEO of Jiminy’s, is excited to partner with the Southeast Pet team.
“Southeast Pet is a unique distributor – employee owned and focused on the independent pet specialty retailers. They are a great partner for a unique brand like Jiminy’s,” said Carlson. “At Jiminy’s, we are dedicated to taking care of our planet and ensuring our pets consume good, wholesome, nutritious foods. We feel inspired and proud to be reducing their ‘carbon pawprint’ by embracing new protein alternatives that ensure the health of our dogs and create sustainable habits.”
