Giuntini, an all-Italian family-owned pet food company that has been manufacturing animal feed since 1956, is looking to expand its presence in the international market and will especially look to do so during InterZoo.
There, Giuntini will be showcasing its new super-premium brand, ItalianWay.
ItalianWay delivers to the pet food market the distinctive and unique taste of Mediterranean tradition Giuntini incorporating also all the benefits of some distinctive ingredients. ItalianWay is the Italian answer to the growing needs of the well-being throughout food: an (Italian-style) diet to take care of your pet.
Giuntini processes and produces different ranges of raw materials and pet food, but in the past five years the company has been focusing on a more specific positioning of ItalianWay for the super-premium market segment. Behind the ItalianWay brand there is university research on Mediterranean diet, the Giuntini expertise in pet food production and the Italian-sounding name. In fact, “La Ricetta della Vita,” the recipe of Life, is a registered trademark of Giuntini which brings all the benefits of Mediterranean natural ingredients to the pets’ diet.
In the ’80s, Giuntini was one of the first Italian brands specialized in extruding dry pet food. From then on, the company says it has constantly improved the pet food production in terms of quality and quantity. Since 2011 Giuntini has also produced dog and cat treats.
The Giuntini pet food plant is the biggest in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. Head offices are located in Città di Castello, Umbria, where the company has also all the processing.
