Honey-coated buffalo treat company Honey I’m Home has taken a massive step forward in its retail growth effort by acquiring Andrew Horn as its director of sales. Horn joins Honey I’m Home with over 15 years of experience in B2B pet supply retail sales.

“My top priority is awareness,” Horn said. “Honey I’m Home offers a unique product that uses healthy ingredients that dogs love. I’m confident that vendors will see the value we offer the pet food industry.”

Because Honey I’m Home is a young brand, the company says vendors can expect the team to go above and beyond to support the partners’ business objectives.

“We are quite literally a five-man operation. When you call our number, there is a good chance that either myself or one of the partners will answer,” Horn said. “You can’t get that level of access with larger brands.”

Horn joins Honey I’m Home with over 15 years of success in B2B pet food sales. Most recently, Horn was national sales manager at Plato Pet Treats where he was named as one of the upcoming and coming pet industry leaders in Pet Age’s 40 under 40.

Honey I’m Home products are made of the highest quality ingredients that come from one source. The company’s manufacturing facilities are GFSI certified, ISO certified and registered with the USDA, exceeding the applicable regulations and safety standards.

Honey I’m Home treats and chews are made in accordance with international animal welfare standards. The company only uses human grade water buffalo out of India that are 100 percent grass fed, free range, grain free and are humanely raised without the use of added antibiotics or hormones.

According to Honey I’m Home, “the government is very strict on the way water buffalo are raised, cared for and fed in India since their main purpose is for human nourishment. This means it is illegal to administer any antibiotics and use any form of hormones, including growth hormones, ensuring supreme health and well-being of the Water Buffalo.”
