Hillside Opening New Facility to Produce New Jerky Lines

“The building’s been completely redone from scratch,” said Steve King, vice president of sales and marketing at Hillside. The 110,000 square foot factory is FDA-inspected for human-grade ingredients.
Three different lines of chicken jerky treats will be made there: Real Organics, American Authentics, and Natural Recipes. All three lines are made of 100 percent U.S.-sourced ingredients and contain no fillers, by-products, or grains. Production of American Authentics will start this year, with production of the other two lines starting in early 2015.
