Halo Teams Up with Others to Donate 10,000 Meals to Pets

November 4, 2014

Halo, Purely for Pets will deliver 10,000 meals to pets in need in Savannah, Ga. during the 2014 Kibble Drop “Inspire Tour.”

The Kibble Drop trucks will make a combined 12 stops throughout the country this holiday season.

As Halo retail partners, Brighter Day Natural Foods, TailsSpin Pet Supply and Whole Foods Market Savannah along with the students of Jacob G. Smith Elementary will be teaming up to present the kibble to Savannah Pet Rescue Alliance, which consists of local rescue agencies, such as the Coastal Pet Rescue, Dachshund Rescue Education, Awareness & Mentoring (DREAM), Humane Society of Greater Savannah, One Love Animal Rescue and Save-A-Life Animal Rescue.

“Supporting shelters is part of our company’s mission,” said Steve Marton, CEO of Halo. “We are inspired by the stories of hope and love we hear every day—and want to honor those pets, pet owners and organizations who exemplify the incredible bond we have with our pets.”
