Fromm Family Foods, a family-owned-and-operated artisan pet food manufacturer based in Wisconsin, has announced its donation of dog food to animal rescue non-profits based in Detroit and Flint, Michigan.

More than 30,000 cans of Fromm Family Foods dog food were donated to the Humane Society of Genesee County, as well as a $500 check to help the shelter continue to purchase and distribute clean bottled water for Flint residents and their pets. The company also donated 8,000 cans of food to the Macomb County Animal Control.

Fromm Family Foods made additional donations to the Detroit-area I Heart Dogs Animal Haven, Heavenly Paws and Semper Fidelis.

“We are incredibly proud to be able to lend some support to another Midwestern community,” said Bryan Nieman, brand director at Fromm Family Foods. “We hope this food donation will do some good for Michigan families and their pets as well as the amazing non-profits that work tirelessly to save as many animals as possible.”
