Fluff & Tuff has created a social media following on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with their #igiveafluff campaign. Wanting to create a community effort, Fluff & Tuff invites customers and retailers to share their photos using #igiveafluff. In return, a toy donation is made on their dog’s behalf. Fluff & Tuff has committed to donating one of their plush toys for each #igiveafluff posted.
“From our beginning, Fluff & Tuff has always been committed to giving back to the pet community that gives so much to us and we’re always looking for fun, creative ways to involve our customers,” said Ellen Lawson, co-owner of Fluff & Tuff. “We receive hundreds of photographs of happy dogs with our toys and wanted to find a way to spread that joy to other dogs in need. Our #igiveafluff campaign gives us a way to do so together with our loyal customers and retailers.”
Originally to run the duration of June 2015, Fluff & Tuff is making plans to extend #igiveafluff.
“We’re grateful for the enthusiastic response from our customers and recipients of our donations and wanted to extend the fun through the summer,” said Lawson.
In addition to their #igiveafluff campaign, Fluff & Tuff donates 100 percent of their profits from the sale of their annual Holiday Charity Ball toy. The Charity Ball, now in its third year, is redesigned and launched each holiday season as another fun way for customers and retailers to give back to the pet community. Donation recipients for #igiveafluff and the Holiday Charity Ball include rescues, shelters, clubs and organizations across the nation that value the education, health and overall well-being of animals.
