Listen to this articleThe Pittsburgh Family Pet Show will be held October 11-12 at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Penn.
The event is designed to educate and entertain the public about the wonderful world of pets with educational performances such as The Wild World of Animals, Mr. O., celebrity dog trainer, the Jersey Disc Devils Dog show and many others.
The event will also feature pet vendors, special attractions, a hands-on-petting zoo, pet adoptions and shopping.
Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 11 and under. Children under 3 years old are admitted for free.
Dogs are allowed at the event and dog owners are encouraged to take part in the Parade of Breeds or the Pet Costume Contest.
