Evanger’s Dog & Cat Food Company donated over 35,000 cans of made in the USA pet foods totaling $50,000 in value to the Ontario SPCA’s high risk Central Region Investigation Branch. The donation included 34,000 cans of dog food and 1,400 cans of cat food.

“This generous donation will assist us in the care of hundreds of dogs and cats at our Central Region Investigation Branch facility, which serves animals in cases where charges of animal cruelty are being investigated on a large scale,” said Marc Ralsky, director of community and donor development at the Ontario SPCA. “These animals are usually injured or very ill and in need of immediate care, so having the opportunity to feed such high quality Evanger’s dog and cat foods allow us the ability to provide a healthy, consistent, palatable diet for these at-risk animals over the next months.”
