Press release: Pet Connections Expo
Last week at the third annual Pet Connections Expo in Edison, New Jersey, eTailPet was chosen as the winner of the Pet Tech Challenge, a “pet tank” contest for pet technology companies who have innovative technologies for the pet industry. Four finalists took the stage in front of our distinguished panel of judges and press, along with hundreds of retailers and manufacturers, as they pitched their products for a chance to win the Grand Prize of over $7,000 in cash and prizes. eTailPet was chosen as the winner based upon creativity, originality, relevance to the pet industry and technical problem solving.
“We are very happy for eTailPet as the winner of our Pet Tech Challenge and we’re excited for this start-up to gain exposure with our distinguished panel of judges, press, and all who were in attendance,” stated Bill Doherty, ICDevents president and show director. “In addition to a $1,000 cash grant and a complimentary 10’x10’ space at Pet Connections 2020 ($2,200 value), eTailPet will receive invaluable business building services to help launch their business and strengthen their sales and marketing efforts.”
“We’re proud to be chosen as the winners of the Pet Tech Challenge 2019! Our whole goal is to help independent pet retailers create a digital storefront so they can compete against the big guys,” stated Berenice Giannini, founder and owner of eTailPet. “eTailPet is the most intuitive and easiest-to-use tool on the market, enabling retailers to compete online by offering online ordering for in-store pickup and/or local home delivery to their busy customers. With the holiday season upon us, now is
the perfect time to get started. We’re growing fast and have lots of good things to come—stay tuned!”
