Earth Animal Joins Pet Sustainability Coalition

April 12, 2017

Earth Animal, maker of award-winning, veterinary formulated products, has joined the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC). Many of Earth Animal’s core pillars and guiding principles were built on a social and environmental foundation. As a member of and with support from PSC, the company will be able to create and implement sustainable business practices to improve their impact.

“We have real passion and purpose for what we do and feel that sustainability is a major part of our DNA—it always has been,” said Susan Goldstein, co-founder and co-CEO of Earth Animal. “And now we are thrilled to begin the process of formalizing and integrating sustainability into our overall business strategy to insure we are making the best decisions for our company with sustainability front and center.”psc

A major area of focus and commitment for Earth Animal includes establishing and implementing effective processes, such as a supply chain code of conduct and sustainability score cards, to help them align and work with like-minded partners.

“It is the right time for us to execute,” Goldstein said. “We have been in this industry for 35 years, and quality, integrity, responsibility and trust are Earth Animal’s core values. And we want to make sure as we continue to grow and expand, we don’t lose sight of those, but rather focus on and live them.”

“We are very excited to have Earth Animal as a part of our growing impact community,” said Caitlyn Bolton, executive director of PSC. “Their commitment to holistic expands beyond just their products and into the way they do business. We look forward to helping them fully integrate their environmental and social strategies.”
