Chuck & Don’s Plans Adoption Event

To celebrate its 28th anniversary, destination pet supplies store Chuck & Don’s will hold a company-wide birthday bash and inaugural adoption event at most locations throughout Minnesota and Colorado. The events, which will take place simultaneously on Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20, will celebrate 28 years of business by providing activities to customers while supporting local pet adoption organizations.

On Sunday, each participating store will host a different pet adoption organization, resulting in the largest-ever adoption event organized by Chuck & Don’s. Throughout 2017, Chuck & Don’s helped find homes for 683 cats and dogs through its fostering and pet adoption events.

“For 28 years, Chuck & Don’s has been proud to offer outstanding pet products and services to our customers and furry friends in all of our stores,” said Bob Hartzell, CEO of Chuck & Don’s. “We are looking forward to putting on a celebration that gives our communities the opportunity to give back through our largest-ever adoption event and birthday sale. It’s going to be a paw-some time.”

In addition to the adoption event, Chuck & Don’s locations will party all weekend long, with a “Make Your Own Paw Print” station on Saturday, and a pet-friendly photo station on Saturday and Sunday, featuring a social media prop frame with interchangeable quotes and sayings. Customers are encouraged to post their photos to social media using the hashtag #partywithchuck.
