Caitec Expands HERO Dog Toy Distribution with Pet Food Experts

Caitec announced yesterday that its HERO dog toy line will be distributed by Pet Food Experts of Rhode Island. Seventy-five of HERO’s durable and innovative dog toys will be available in all of Pet Food Experts’ warehouse regions by June 1. By partnering with Pet Food Experts, the HERO line will achieve distribution in the entire upper region of the U.S., from Maine to Washington State (excluding Ohio and Michigan).

“We are excited to add the HERO line to our independent pet retail partners,” Pet Food Experts Market Strategy Manager Antoine Seailles said. “The HERO line offers a broad array of quality chew, fetch and treat toys which makes it easier to sell complete plan-o-grams to our dealer network.”

To complement the HERO roll-out, Caitec will be launching an advertising and promotions campaign to drive consumers to stores carrying the line. The campaign will be based on its pervasive ‘Every Dog is Somebody’s HERO’ trade campaign. The promotion will offer consumers a sweepstakes in which they can win free HERO dog toys for a year.

“Our partnership with Pet Food Experts will expose the HERO line to significantly more dealers and consumers,” Caitec President Terry Gao said. “This allows us to aggressively target dealers and ultimately consumers, on a whole new level.”
