According to the following Facebook post published by a Cincinnati-based Bentley’s Pet Stuff, the company has shut down all of its locations in both Ohio and Indiana:

“Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, that can not be avoided, all of the Ohio and Indiana stores will be permanently closed at the end of business on Sunday, March 10th. We are so sorry about the short notice. We are devastated and want to help you out as much as we can so if you need to know where to buy any of your supplies that you get here, message us and I will find where you may get it around here. Have a great day and thank you for being the best customer-friends we have met.”

When asked to comment on the news, Lisa Senafe, the company’s co-founder and president, told Pet Age: “We are always evaluating our stores and markets and will continue to invest in those that we see ongoing growth. Above all we want to stay true to our food promise to keep serving our loyal customers and bring them the products we believe in.”
