American Pet Products Association (APPA) CEO Steve King proudly announced April 20 Charmaine Davis-Ford has been promoted to director of finance.
“On behalf of the APPA board and staff, we congratulate Charmaine and believe she will thrive in her new role and continue to serve as an integral part of our team,” said King.
Davis-Ford previously served as chief accountant and has more than 20 years of accounting experience. In her new role, she will oversee all finance and accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting, coordination of external audits, cash management, local tax preparation, internal control and compliance.
Davis-Ford attended Monroe College in New York where she obtained her accounting degree. In addition to her degree, she also obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). She is also a Connecticut Notary Public and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
