APPA Brings on 2 New Team Members

American Pet Products Association (APPA) Executive Vice President and COO Andrew Darmohraj has announced the addition of two new staff members.

Charmaine Davis-Ford serves as chief accountant for APPA. She brings more than 20 years of experience and oversees all finance and accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting, coordination of external audits, cash management, local tax preparation, internal control and compliance. Davis-Ford attended Monroe College in New York where she obtained her accounting degree. In addition to her degree, she also obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Abigail Marco serves as a member services coordinator for APPA. Her responsibilities include overseeing maintenance of the association’s member database and processes and determining eligibility of new member applications. Marco obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology and management from Sacred Heart University where she also made the Dean’s List. Outside of work, she is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Society for Human Resource Management.

“On behalf of the APPA board and staff I am proud to welcome these two new members to our team,” Darmohraj said. “We believe that their skills will be a great addition to the association and we look forward to seeing them thrive.”
