American Nutrition to Sponsor Canine Companions for Independence ‘Imagine Independence’ Event

April 18, 2018

American Nutrition, a family-owned pet food manufacturer for branded companies and retailers, will be a Platinum Paw Sponsor of the Canine Companions for Independence “Imagine Independence” event slated for April 19, 2018, at Union Station in Ogden, Utah.

“Imagine Independence is an incredible event,” said Amy Forkell, corporate director of human resources, American Nutrition. “We are proud to be able to do our part to support Canine Companions for Independence and their mission to provide assistance dogs for individuals with disabilities. We are not just a pet food manufacturer, we are also pet lovers and advocates of supporting a worthy cause. Plus, who can resist a dog kissing booth?”

Canine Companions for Independence provides highly-trained assistance dogs for children and adults with disabilities free of charge, and Imagine Independence is its annual fundraising event featuring a dinner and live auction.
