American Kennel Club Launches Breeder-Focused Slogan

The American Kennel Club (AKC), the world’s largest purebred dog registry and leading authority and advocate for dogs, continues to promote its 133-year mission and support of breeders with the launch of a brand new breeder-focused slogan, “Healthy Happy Puppies Start with Me and AKC.”

The AKC’s marketing department collaborated with its delegate body and licensed and member clubs to create the slogan, which will make its debut on magnetic bumper stickers this month at the AKC Meet The Breeds Event on February 11. Responsible breeders that register their dogs with the American Kennel Club can use this slogan on their web properties and to communicate proudly that they are breeding dogs with good health as a priority.

“The AKC has always held responsible breeders in the highest regard,” said Dennis Sprung, president and CEO of the AKC. “Breeders that maintain responsible programs produce beautiful, healthy dogs that become wonderful companions and enhance our lives.”
