Acosta, a leading full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods industry, has signed an agreement to acquire The Pet Firm, a national pet specialty sales, marketing and merchandising agency.

“The Pet Firm’s passion for animals and expertise in positioning products for success in pet specialty retailers, distributors and independent retailers will broaden our platform and enable us to better serve a very important growth segment,” said Robert Hill, president and CEO of Acosta. “With the combined breadth and depth of each organization’s capabilities, we will be able to provide unmatched personalized service to pet industry clients and customers in the U.S. and Canada.”

The transaction between the two companies is expected to close in November 2015.
