Phillips Pet Food & Supplies Holds National Sales Meeting

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies of Easton, Penn. hosted their annual 2015 National Sales Meeting on January 11-15.

Territory managers from across the country traveled to Bethlehem, Penn. for a four day training event. The theme for the event was: “Boldly going where no other distributor has gone before.” Throughout the whole meeting, there were fun-filled events along with prize giveaways to go along with the 2015 National Sales Meeting Star-Trek theme. Each territory manager received a “phazor” gun to kick off the meeting, vendor participants dressed in their Star Trek best to present to the group and the evening events followed the theme.

This training event included company training, vendor training and a territory manager panel, along with some guest speakers.

Dave Ratner, from Dave’s Soda and Pet City was a guest speaker at the close of the meeting on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Ratner’s presentation discussed the sales representation through the eyes of a customer. His discussion stemmed from several discussions with the territory managers of what they would like to see at this sales meeting. He ended with a standing ovation from the crowd and each territory manager walked away with a new tool they are to use in the field.
