Ziwi USA Inc. Names President, VP of Sales

New Zealand pet food brand Ziwi recently appointed Mary Helen Horn to the newly-created role of President – Ziwi USA Inc and Heather Hickey to the role of vice president of Sales.

Horn will now have responsibility over all company operations in the United States and Canada. The company says the position is reflective of the growing personnel and its commitment to continued investment in the North American market.

Horn has over 14 years of industry experience, including expertise in general business strategy, management, revenue growth, and brand building.

She began her career with Ziwi USA in 2015 as the general manager of Sales and Marketing, and the company has experienced rapid growth in sales under her leadership.

“My focus going forward is to drive the development of the emerging category of air-dried nutrition, maintaining Ziwi’s place as both the innovator and global leader within the category,” Horn said. “Ziwi has a solid brand platform, and commitment to quality and moving forward it is our job to educate retailers and consumers about this amazing product produced in our clean, green home of New Zealand.”

Prior to joining the Ziwi USA team as vice president of Sales, Hickey has had 12 years of premium pet food sales experience, with considerable expertise in building and leading sales organizations within the natural/holistic pet food industry.

“Heather is passionate about pet nutrition and brings extensive sales and management experience to the Ziwi team,” Horn said. “With the addition of her experience, we are ensuring that we can continue to exceed our North American sales objectives and maintain Ziwi’s global leadership position in air-dried nutrition.”
