Woof Gang Bakery Hosts Third Annual Pet Adoption Event

Listen to this articleThe Woof Gang Bakery’s third annual adopt-a-thon event will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2016, kicking off National Pet Week.
64 Woof Gang Bakery stores nationwide will host in-store adoption events to support animal rescue organizations in their local communities. As part of the adopt-a-thon, local animal welfare groups will have pets available for adoption and giveaways will be offered throughout the day.
In the weeks leading up to the April 30 adopt-a-thon event, Woof Gang Bakery stores will have donation drop boxes for food, treats and toys to collect items for local rescue groups.
During last year’s adoption event, 70 dogs and cats were placed in new homes. Participating animal rescue organization received donations, including nearly 2,600 total pounds of pet food, in addition to $7,800 in other donations such as treats, toys and accessories, and $500 in grooming services.
