The Pound Bakery and Pedigree Ovens Implements Senior Leadership Structure to Sustain Future Growth

The Pound Bakery and Pedigree Ovens announced a new leadership team and management structure to better position the company for long-term growth. This organization has been developed in response to increased company growth over the past few years and in preparation for continued growth and new capabilities the companies will soon be adding.

This new structure named Lexie Berglund president of The Pound Bakery, Jared Gratz chief operating officer and Tom MacKenzie plant manager.
“I’m excited to have this great team of employees in charge as we continue to grow in the upcoming years,” company owner Kurt Stricker said.

As president of The Pound Bakery, Berglund is in charge of sales and product development. Berglund has been with The Pound Bakery for 10 years and will be working to continue to grow the client base and help clients craft new formulas.

Gratz has been employed by The Pound Bakery and Pedigree Ovens for the past four years. In his new position, Gratz will be responsible for managing and streamlining all food safety requirements and plant production. This will include overseeing bakery production, as well as extrusion production when new capabilities will be added later this year.

MacKenzie has been with The Pound Bakery and Pedigree Ovens for 14 years and has helped grow and manage the production and manufacturing. In this new role, MacKenzie will oversee and manage production and maintenance.
