Officials from Blue Buffalo and Petsense announced that Stephen Clark of Granbury, Texas, won the grand prize in the national Blue Buffalo-Petsense Jeep Promotion. Clark received the keys to a new Jeep at an event at the Petsense store in Granbury.

Mr. Clark is a retired veteran with 22 years of service in the U.S. Army. He and his wife have a cat named Thor.

“I’ve never won anything in my life except maybe a $100 scratch off, so it’s a real pleasure to win this Jeep courtesy of Blue Buffalo,” Clark said. “I served my country for over 20 years and it’s nice to have this happen now.”

The Jeep Wrangler is fully outfitted in Mossy Oak camouflage, the same packaging design used for the new BLUE Wilderness Bayou Blend dog food product line which features dog food and treats. BLUE promotes a healthy, active lifestyle for pets and pet parents. Jeep appeals to owners who enjoy the great outdoors.

In August, Clark noticed the Blue Buffalo contest display at the Petsense store and decided to submit an entry in the ballot box.

“We are happy for Mr. Clark and we’re glad he submitted an entry in this fun, unique contest at more than 130 Petsense stores across the country,” said Craig Stankevich, senior director of marketing at Blue Buffalo. “This Petsense Jeep Sweepstakes supported new BLUE product innovations, in particular our Wilderness Bayou Blend which features Mossy Oak camouflage packaging. We are especially excited that Mr. Clark, an Army veteran, won this one-of-a-kind BLUE Wilderness camouflage Jeep Wrangler.”

The special Jeep was prepped at Huffines Chrysler Jeep and Dodge in Lewisville, Texas.

“Petsense is always looking for new ways to give back to our community members, and we are thrilled to present Mr. Clark, a deserving military veteran, with a new Jeep Wrangler,” said Steve Neibergall, chief operating officer at Petsense. “We congratulate Mr. Clark and we hope that the Clark family will enjoy this special prize.”
