SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Pet Age (the “Publication”) Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 18, 2017 and ends at 5:00 p.m. ET on October 10, 2017 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open to all active and lawful businesses whose primary office is located in the United States (the “Business” or “Businesses”). In order to enter the Sweepstakes, the owner or employee of the Business must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and must enter the Sweepstakes on behalf of the Business (the “Entrant” or “Entrants”).

GateHouse Media Pennsylvania Holdings, Inc. d/b/a Pet Age, 175 Sully’s Trail, Pittsford, New York 14534 (the “Sponsor”).
HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES AND SWEEPSTAKES RULES
1. The Entrant should visit www.PetAge.com/ (the “Website”) during the Sweepstakes Period, navigate to the Sweepstakes icon, complete the entry form with the required contact information, submit votes for favorite pet-related products according to the instructions on the Website, and submit the entry as directed (the “Entry” or “Entries”). In order to be entered in the Sweepstakes, each Entrant must vote in all categories.
2. One (1) Entry per Business per day will be accepted during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. ET on October 10, 2017 in order to be eligible (the “Entry Deadline”). No Entries will be accepted after the Entry Deadline.
3. Entries will not be accepted through e-mail or facsimile. Entries made with multiple e-mail addresses, under multiple identities or through the use of any agent or other device to enter multiple times will be deemed invalid. The use of any automated system to submit Entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification of all such Entries as well as the Entrant.
HOW TO WIN THE SWEEPSTAKES
All Entries will be entered in an electronic random drawing (the “Drawing”) to be held on or before October 10 2017, at the offices of the Publication. One (1) Entry will be selected in the Drawing (the “Winner” or “Winners”).
PRIZES
There will be one (1) prize of advertising awarded to the winning Business (the “Winner”) in this Sweepstakes (the “Proposed Advertising”) as follows: $500 will be awarded to the Winner to be used for advertising fees in a print publication of the Winner’s choice.
The Business must designate a date for placement of the PRIZE, which date shall not be more than four (4) weeks after the Acceptance (the “Placement Date”).
The Advertising prize has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or any other services or products. Prize value cannot be used towards current advertising schedule or other current commitments of the Business to the publication.
No substitution or transfer of the prize will be allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
The Winner will be announced in a future edition of Pet Age and will be notified by e-mail and/or a phone call by October 10, 2017.
Any and all decisions of the Sponsor regarding this Sweepstakes are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of Entries received by Pet Age by the Deadline Date.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
The potential prize winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release in order to be eligible to accept the prize. Winner must provide proof of purchase which will include a copy of an authentic invoice for said advertising and a “tear sheet”, which illustrates actual advertising that ran connected to invoice.
TAXES
All local, state and federal taxes incurred by accepting a prize will be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
Use of E-mail Addresses
By participating in the Sweepstakes, the Business agrees to opt-in to receive e-mail communications from GateHouse Media or the Sponsor. If a Business chooses to opt out of such future communications from GateHouse Media or the Sponsor, the Business will be able to do so by following the instructions on any electronic communications sent by GateHouse Media or the Sponsor. Upon opting-out, GateHouse Media or the Sponsor will no longer send e-mail messages to the Business. The choice by a Business to opt out will not affect eligibility in the Sweepstakes.
CONDITIONS
By entering, the Business agrees to comply with these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final, and release the Sponsor, and each of its divisions, affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone associated with the production of this Sweepstakes, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, losses or damages (including attorneys fees) of any kind arising out of their participation in this Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize. The potential prize winner waives the right to assert as a cost of winning the prize any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem said prizes and waive any liability or claims (including attorney’s fees) which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem said prizes. In the event of non-compliance with these Official Rules, or if prizes are refused or cannot be accepted for any reason, the prizes will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing from all Businesses participating in this Sweepstakes. Upon forfeiture or refusal, no compensation will be given. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use the Business’s name, photograph, likeness and/or statements attributed to winner regarding the Sweepstakes, for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation or consent. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. This Sweepstakes shall only be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the state of New York, without regard to the principles of conflicts of laws and submission of any entry constitutes acceptance of such laws. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
GateHouse Media and its affiliates reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes, including information on the Business obtained through the Sweepstakes, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
