Pets Best Insurance Services, LLC, a leading U.S. pet insurance agency based in Boise, Idaho, is pleased to announce it now have an Unlimited Accident and Illness Pet Insurance Plan.

For more than 10 years, Pets Best has helped provide peace of mind to pet parents by offering customizable pet insurance plans and quick reimbursements on veterinary bills. Pets Best has built a reputation of customer-centric innovations that put the customer’s best interests first. Continuing in this legacy, Pets Best introduces the Unlimited Accident and Illness Pet Insurance Plan.

What’s an Unlimited Accident and Illness Plan?

Pet insurance works on a reimbursement model, meaning customers pay their pet’s veterinary bill, submit a claim to the pet insurance provider and then they get reimbursed on that bill. Previously, all plans offered by Pets Best had an annual limit. So, for example, if a plan with a $10,000 annual limit was purchased, the maximum customers could be reimbursed on their pet’s veterinary bills would be $10,000 during that policy year. However, with the new Unlimited Accident and Illness Plan, no matter the amount of their pet’s veterinary bills, pet owners won’t have to worry about maxing out the amount they can get reimbursed; be it $5,000 or $50,000 or more. There are no annual or lifetime limits.

The Pets Best Unlimited Accident and Illness Plan* also has the most comprehensive coverage for pets, including:

  • Accident coverage needed, for example, to treat broken bones, poisoning, car accident, lacerations, foreign or object ingestion which results in surgery
  • Illness coverage needed, for example, to treat cancer, diabetes, arthritis, allergies, cruciate ligament injuries, skin and ear infections, urinary tract infections and epilepsy
  • Hereditary and congenital conditions
  • Emergency care, hospitalization and surgery
  • Prescription medications
  • Ongoing and chronic conditions
  • Diagnostics
  • Physical rehabilitation

Another unique feature of the Unlimited Plan is that it includes coverage for the veterinary exam fees for the various accidents and illnesses. According to Dr. Stephens, founder of Pets Best, a single veterinary exam fee is around $50-$65 in the U.S. and can be as high as $250 for specialists and emergency hospitals. If exam fees aren’t covered, those costs can add up quickly for pet owners.

“While some of our customers are perfectly happy with the $5,000 or $10,000 annual limit plans, advancements in modern veterinary medicine have also resulted in increasing veterinary costs for pet owners. This new Unlimited Plan offers financial peace of mind to pet parents who want to provide their furry family members with the best possible veterinary care, without having to worry about reimbursement limits or expensive veterinary bills,” said Chris L. Middleton, president of Pets Best.
