Pet Food Express Donates to CARDA

Listen to this articleMembers of CARDA (the California Rescue Dog Association, Inc.) visited the Pet Food Express headquarters in Oakland, Calif. to accept a donation of over $36,000.
Pet Food Express held a dog wash fundraiser at 17 of its stores and donated 100 percent of the sales to the nonprofit group.
During the weekend of June 6, 2015 CARDA handlers and dogs visited the participating Pet Food Express stores greeting and educating customers about the non-profit. Customers washed their dogs in the state-of-the-art self-service dog wash stations at Pet Food Express using $15 tokens and Pet Food Express donated the $15 directly to CARDA.
The $36,340 raised from this fundraiser will go to helping offset some of the costs of responding to emergencies, extensive training and emergency supplies. This was the third time Pet Food Express teamed up with CARDA to raise funds and is honored to be able to help their mission of saving lives.
