Pet Food Experts Opens Mid-Atlantic Distribution Center

Pet Food Experts celebrated the grand opening of its new distribution center in Denver, Pennsylvania on July 7^th.

The pet supply distributor’s new Mid-Atlantic hub was welcomed with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Lancaster County officials and members of the local community.

Approximately 20 miles from the site of the company’s old warehouse location, the new facility has over $1.25 million in product on its shelves. It will serve over 1,000 existing customers on the East Coast.

The new warehouse is the largest of the company’s distribution centers. The other three are located in Rhode Island, Illinois and Washington.

“I represent the fourth generation of my family in the pet industry and what started as mostly a hobby for my grandfather in his basement based in Rumford, Rhone Island…and to think now we have a 200,000 square foot custom built facility here, it is really hard to grasp,” said president and CEO Michael Baker

Pet Food Experts’ headquarters remain in Rhode Island. The family-owned and -operated company services more than 3,400 independent retailers in 29 states.
