Several species are considered susceptible to spring viremia of carp:
• Bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis)
• Common carp, including koi (Cyprinus carpio)
• Crucian carp (Carassius carassius)
• Goldfish (Carassius auratus)
• Grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus)
• Sheatfish (Silurus glanis)
• Silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix)
• Tench (Tinca tinca)
