Reef Conference Rescheduled
The Chicago Marine Aquarium Society has rescheduled its World Reef Conference for 2010, and will not co-locate with H.H. Backer’s Pet Industry Christmas Trade Show and Educational Conference this year
Conference co-chair Boyd Corbett said the move was fiscally responsible, citing the number of potential exhibitors who wanted to participant but were held back by budget restraints.
By rescheduling the conference to Oct. 8-10, 2010, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (Chicago), Ill., CMAS expects to maximize the participation of marine aquatic vendors and conference attendees, Corbett said.
Organizers are working to book the same aquatics experts as speakers at next year’s event.
“CMAS is optimistic that 2010 will be a terrific year for the marine aquatic hobby and we are looking forward to seeing all of you at the World Reef Conference in October 2010,” Corbett said.
