APPA Awards 8 Scholarships
The American Pet Products Association (Greenwich, Conn.) awarded $1,500 Jules Schwimmer Scholarships for 2009-2010 to outstanding college students with family ties to APPA member firms.
Recipients were: Logan Balandrin, Central Avian & Small Animal (Elk Grove Village, Ill.); Brittani Bogatz, Sergeant’s Pet Products Inc. (Omaha, Neb.); Hannah Bullington, Espree Animal Products Inc. (Grapevine, Texas); Amanda Carter, Hamilton Products Inc. (Ocala, Fla.); Laura Dungey, Auburn Leathercrafters (Auburn, N.Y.); Erin Long, Ziwipeak Marketing Ltd. (Jacksonville, Fla.); Leslie Suring, North States Industries Inc. (Blaine, Minn.); and Kacie West, Central Avian and Small Animal (Elk Grove Village, Ill.).
