APPA Awards Jules Schwimmer Scholarships
The American Pet Products Association (Greenwich, Conn.) awarded $1,500 Jules Schwimmer Scholarships to exemplary college students with family ties to APPMA member firms.
Recipients were: Logan Balandrin, Central Avian & Small Animal (Elk Grove Village, Ill.); Hannah Bullington, Espree Animal Products Inc. (Grapevine, Texas); Laura Dungey, Auburn Leathercrafters (Auburn, N.Y.); Stephanie Endicott, Pacific Coast Imports Inc. (Woodburn, Ore.); Jeffrey Faust, Daniel Mortimer and Rebecca Schmid, Kaytee/Central Avian & Small Animal (Chilton, Wis.); Kritina Punzi, Barron’s Educational Series Inc. (Hauppauge, N.Y.); and Amy Robertson, Frontier Distributing Inc. (Oxford, Mich.).
In conjunction with the scholarship program, Midwest Homes for Pets (Muncie, Ind.) gave an Earl F. Smith Memorial Scholarship to Emily Smithson.
