The American Pet Products Manufacturers Association (Greenwich, Conn.) awarded $1,500 Jules Schwimmer Scholarships to eight exemplary college students with family ties to APPMA member firms: Jessica Carter, Hamilton Products Inc. (Ocala, Fla.); Kathleen Hall, American Wood Fibers Inc. (Columbia, Md.); Kyla Kohagen, PlanetWise Products Inc. (Pine Bluff, Ark.); Kendra Lineback, Dowell Manufacturing Inc. (Longwood, Fla.); Jennifer Nahay, Dad’s Pet Care (Meadville, Pa.), Jeffrey Faust, Kaytee Products Inc. (Chilton, Wis.); and Christina O’Dell, Woodstream Corp. (Lititz, Pa.).

In addition, Jessi Smithson received the Earl F. Smith Memorial Scholarship, a piggyback scholarship from Mid-West Homes for Pets (Muncie, Ind.) administered through APPMA.
