PIJAC Canada Hosts Gala to Celebrate Its 20th Anniversary
The Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council Canada (Ottawa, Ontario) will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a gala dinner during its National Pet Industry Trade Show, Sept. 16-17 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
Hosted by TV and radio personality Robert Church, the Sunday evening gala will feature a keynote address by Marshall Meyers, executive vice president and general counsel for the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council (Washington), entertainment by comedian Jim McNally and an awards ceremony honoring the leaders of PIJAC Canada.
"For the last two decades, PIJAC Canada has represented and fought for the rights of pet industry businesses at the federal, provincial and municipal levels of government," said Clarke Cameron, president of the organization. "With a philosophy of cooperation and a spirit of perseverance, we are proud to have helped contribute to a $4 billion industry in Canada. We truly do have a lot to celebrate."
