Zoomark 2007
Attracts More International Exhibitors
Companies from countries around the world are expected to bolster
the continental flavor of the 12th edition of Zoomark International,
a pet trade show to be held May 10-13, 2007, at the Bologna
Exhibition Center in Bologna, Italy.
At press time, show organizers were working with the Pet
Industry Joint Advisory Council Canada, PetQuip-Gardenex in
the United Kingdom and the Australian Department of Commerce
to gain government support for companies planning to participate
individually or as members of Canadian, British or Australian
pavilions.
Due to their collaboration with Zoobusiness, a Russian pet
trade publication, organizers expected exhibitors and buyers
from that country to attend the 2007 show as well.
Additionally, the show will feature a new pavilion of companies
from Brazil.
Existing American and Chinese pavilions are expected to be
larger in 2007, thanks to the efforts of the Department of
Commerce of the American Consulate General, the American Pet
Products Manufacturers Association (Greenwich, Conn.) and
the World Wide Pet Industry Association (Arcadia, Calif.),
and China Great Wall International Exhibition Co. Ltd.
The last edition of Zoomark International, in 2005, recorded
276 foreign exhibitors—more than half of the 545 total
exhibitors—from 35 nations.
Other show highlights will include the Novelties Showcase,
where visitors can preview new products, and a comprehensive
program of seminars and conferences.
The event is organized by BolognaFiere. For more information,
