Visitors to the next Global Pet Expo, to take place Feb. 14-16, 2008, in San Diego, will find a new section dedicated to vendors and buyers of boutique pet products.

The Boutique at Global Pet Expo will showcase trendy and fashionable boutique products to pamper pets, including custom-designed jewelry, stylish carriers, couture clothing, luxury beds and spa products, according to the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association (Greenwich, Conn.) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (Bel Air, Md.), organizers of the show.

“This show-within-a-show concept will be key for buyers looking for the latest trends in high-end and lavish pet products,” said Andrew Darmohraj, senior vice president of APPMA. “The Boutique at Global Pet Expo will bring additional value to the show as more pet owners pamper their pets and look to purchase these types of products.”
