Celebrates 40th Anniversary Christmas Show
Whether you are interested in great deals on innovative products

for at H.H. Backer’s 40th Annual Pet Industry Christmas
Trade Show and Educational Conference, to be held Oct. 6-8 at
the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (Chicago),
Illinois.
With 950 exhibitors occupying more than 1,500 booths, the
show promises to be one of the most varied Backer shows to
date, according to Colette Fairchild, trade show director
for H.H. Backer Associates Inc. (Chicago).
“Our many exhibitors boast some of the most innovative
pet-related products on the market today, so come prepared
to be kept busy—both on the show floor and off!”
she added.
As part of its 40th anniversary celebration, H.H. Backer
will throw a gangster-themed party on Saturday, Oct. 7. “Come
decked out in your best ‘mobster’ attire because
we will award prizes for the most original and outrageous
costumes,” Fairchild said. “With drinks and dancing
continuing into the wee hours of the morning, this bash is
bound to be one of the best-attended parties in Backer history!”
In addition, H.H. Backer will give away several bonus prize
packages—including a trip for two to Hawaii that covers
airfare and hotel expenses—to winners in the popular
“Celebration of Style” grooming competition.
Adding excitement to the show floor will be Brian Wilcox’s
Ultimate Air Dogs. Performing daily in the Canine Sports Arena,
Ultimate Air Dogs soar through the air into a 29-foot-long
pool of water and are judged on distance, height and catching
abilities.
