Fast for SuperZoo 2006
As of May 9, booth sales for SuperZoo 2006 were running 13 percent
ahead of sales for the 2005 show, according to the World Wide
Pet Industry Association (Arcadia, Calif.).
SuperZoo 2006 will be held Sept. 20-22 at the Mandalay Bay
Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Compared with the year-earlier period, the number of exhibiting
companies is up 26 percent and the number of pre-registered
buyers is up 233 percent.
“The increase in numbers for SuperZoo can be attributed
to three key changes in the show preparations: the designation
of a WWPIA staff member to cultivate a greater number of attendees;
the new personalized program, MySuperZoo; and the new SuperZoo
University program,” said Doug Poindexter, executive
vice president of WWPIA.
