Upscale Products
to Take Center Stage at GLEE Petindex
GLEE Petindex will shine the spotlight on products for pampered
pets Sept. 17-19 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham,
England, when more than 300 pet products manufacturers of all
sizes convene to launch a wide range of pet care products and
accessories.
The annual event runs concurrently with GLEE, an international
garden and leisure exhibition.
In an expanded educational program, the Pet Care Trust (Bedford,
England) will offer three days of seminars focused on the
daily themes of “Education, Education, Education,”
“Money, Money, Money” and “Location, Location,
Location.”
“It was standing room only at many of last year’s
Pet Care Trust seminars, and we have used the most popular
sessions as a springboard for our plans for GLEE Pet Index
2006,” said Nicola Bell, events and marketing manager
for the Pet Care Trust. “This year we have tried to
structure the program more like a conference, repeating some
sessions on different days to give visitors who may be at
the show for one day the chance to attend. In particular,
we have continued to include retail-led seminars alongside
our popular grooming demonstrations. There will also be a
fun pet ‘catwalk’ this year, showcasing some of
the innovative new pet-wear accessories being exhibited at
the show.”
To help international visitors find new contacts, ideas,
products and information, the event offers special services
such as the GLEE World Network and the GLEE International
Buyers’ Center.
Pre-registration is free for all overseas visitors. For more
